The Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad is a huge stadium. In fact, with a capacity of 54000 seats, it is the largest stadium in Gujarat. I had last visited this place for the oath taking ceremony of Shri Narendra Modi and his Cabinet in December 2007 after the BJP’s spectacular victory in the State Assembly elections.

Union Agriculture Minister and International Cricket Council (ICC) president president-elect Sharad Pawar on Friday dismissed reports of his family's involvement in the failed bid for Indian Premier League franchisees.

"The report is not a new report. I saw the report in other papers two months back and my position was explained. I have already said there is direct or indirect involvement in any IPL teams. My family or I are not involved in IPL bid," Pawar said in New Delhi.

Now that the results are out, the most talked about and hyped discussion is about who would be the next ministers? Well, there is a wide range of choices. From mamta banerjee to farouque abdullah, from rahul gandhi to sachin pilot, from shashi tharoor to navin jindal......there is a hope to have many of the young leaders this time in the parliament. This is one thing that has made me feel really great about the election results. The race for portfolios has begun.....we are yet to wait and watch....

As the Taliban begins to reveal its existence in Pakistan it is an obvious concern for Indian Defence forces.. The concern is not only about protecting India from Taliban, but also to regulate the constant infiltration from the neighbours. There are tough times ahead but we shall fight for the right.

President Barack Obama has created history . He is the first African-American to become the President of USA.

This shows how long awaited was the "Change" in the USA. India seems to be awaiting such a change desperately. I really hope and pray that India gets her Obama soon..........
