It's considered a major medical breakthrough - India's first home made swine flu vaccine was launched by Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad on Thursday. It will hit the markets on Friday.The Health Minister launched the vaccine and was even injected with it.

The top brass of the Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to revert to its favourite theme, chanting the mantra ‘suraj’ (good governance) that was coined almost a decade ago. The state unit of the party is busy playing the host, meticulously planning the two-day national convention at Bhayandar on June 5-6. Interestingly, the star of the conclave will be Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi and not BJP president Nitin Gadkari.

This comes close to the heels of their May 23 announcement where they said that they were patching up their differences, ending a non-compete agreement, and moving towards reconciliation.
